How much waste should I allow?
A common planning allowance is around 5–15%, but complex layouts can need more.
Why round packs up?
Flooring is normally sold in complete packs, so partial packs cannot usually be bought.
What about irregular rooms?
Split the room into simple rectangles, calculate each area and add them together.
