UK MPG uses the imperial gallon, which is larger than the US gallon. This converter therefore uses the imperial conversion rather than the US MPG formula.
For UK imperial MPG: L/100km = 282.481 ÷ MPG. To convert back, UK MPG = 282.481 ÷ L/100km.
